Texan awarded grand champion NATFLY 2005

On the 26th March at Narromine’s RSL club a packed audience were at hand to enjoy the RAAus Gala dinner night, where the Fly Synthesis “Texan” was awarded Grand Champion at NATFLY 2005.
Caz Monteleone owner of the Texan was delighted to win the prestigious award. Pictured below with RAAus president Mr. John Gardon, Caz say’s “This is the first Texan to arrive in Australia and had only recently come out of the container so it’s an honour to win such a prize.

The Fly Synthesis Texan was very well received by the NATFLY visitors. Being voted best production aircraft at NATFLY 2005 affirmed our decision to launch the Texan at the National Fly in. We look forward to enhancing the profile of our sport through events such as the NATFLY Gala dinner and the awarding of such prizes. Our thanks go to the organisers of NATFLY and the RAAus for supporting such events.
