Kit Information

The Texan Top Class 550 kit is only available in a quick build kit form.

All the necessary parts are supplied in the kit and further the manufacturer has built all the major and more difficult components.

The quick build kit features:

Engine cowlings, Engine cowling quarter turn cam-lock, Engine mount , Engine wiring loom kit, Engine fuel sys, Oil cooler support, Air filter support, Throttle control cables, Stainless steel Firewall, Dashboard with black instrument panel, Pedals with steering/ rudder control sys, Cabin wiring loom kit, floor panel, Comfort velour Interior, Ergonomic sport seats w/ Headrest, Four Point Safety Harness, Blue tint Canopy, Canopy Taxi Opening sys, Canopy Key Lock, Luggage compartment, Hydraulic Lever operated Brake system.

Fuselage, Wings, Ground tie down point, Ailerons, Flap system, Fuel system, Internal mounted Stabilator counter weight, Electric Trim system, Rudder, Top Tail Fairing RG mod, Low Tail Fairing RG mod, Landing gear complete, Steel Heavy duty MLG legs, NLG Steering front oleo shock absorber, wheels & tires and relatives fairings. Colored Striping & Company logo stickers.

Composite parts are delivered straight out from the mould, so it is necessary to finish them before installation. All structural parts will be produced, completed and glued before leaving the factory. Kit builder is required to follow the Kit Manual and adopt proper aviation mechanical practices.
The kit includes every part needed to assembly the plane excluding the propeller, the engine, engine accessories, instrumentation and battery.

Assembly has been estimated as taking 280 hours utilising basic hand tools. No specialist equipment or welding is required. A comprehensive 100 page coloured assembly manual that includes the electrical diagram is supplied with each kit so you will be flying your brand new plane before your tired of it.
